  • 1800SUICIDE: focuses on suicide-related calls, providing suicide assessment/intervention and support, and connecting to resources (and emergency services when needed).
  • 310Mental Health Support: emotional support plus information and resources related to mental health.

Privacy and safety approach​

CLABC describes CARE principles for the province-wide lines, including:

  • Confidential: calls are kept confidential (in accordance with provincial privacy legislation)
  • Accessible: toll-free, non-judgemental support is available 24/7/365
